Aliskhan Pliev kidnapped in Ingushetia

Early in the morning on November 4, armed persons in military uniform and masks rushed into Boris Pliev's house and forced away his son Aliskhan, born in 1979.

According to Aliskhan's relatives, the kidnapping was committed by unidentified persons who had arrived in four cars, two armoured UAZ minivans among them. Until now, Aliskhan's whereabouts is unknown, as reported by the "Ingushetia.Org" Agency.

On November 6, President of Ingushetia Yunus-Bek Evkurov held a meeting with heads of the republic's power agencies on the problem of kidnappings. "Several days ago, parents of Makhsud Makhloev, who had been kidnapped by unknown agents, came to me; in this context I conclude that violations of the law at conducting special operations continue," the "Rosbalt" quotes Mr Evkurov as saying.
