In Georgia, members of "November 7" tried to seize TV Centre

Today in Tbilisi, some dozens members of the radical youth organization "November 7" have made an attempt to capture the building of the "Georgian TV Channel One".

The radicals wanted in this manner to force the managers of the TV Channel to put on air the documentary about dispersal by police and internal troops of the peaceful rally in Tbilisi on November 7, 2007.

Securities and sentry policemen managed to prevent the intrusion of young men into the building of the TV Centre. However, two of them managed to chain themselves with handcuffs to the iron lattice inside the entrance to the building, the "Interfax" reports. Later, they were released by policemen.

Representatives of the TV Channel management told journalists that the incident will be settled by means of a dialogue with the leaders of the "November 7", the "Echo Moskvy" Radio reports.
