Khazbiev: Maksharip Aushev could have been killed during search in his house in Ingushetia

Magomed Khazbiev, head of the Nationwide Rally of Ingush People and Maksharip Aushev's comrade-in-arms, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that Maksharip, present owner of the independent Internet portal "Ingushetia.Ru" (now "Ingushetia.Org"), whose house was searched today in the morning again without due sanction, is under threat of physical liquidation.

During recent searches Maksharip Aushev was not at home - yesterday in the evening he received information from the sources close to President of the Republic that power agents would try to physically liquidate him in the course of the search, allegedly at the attempt of armed resistance. According to the source, the decision was made by three persons: personally President Murat Zyazikov, security chief Ruslambek Zyazikov and Minister of Internal Affairs Musa Medov.

Unlike the previous searches conducted in Aushev's house during the latest 4 days, today MIA agents arrived in an armoured troop carrier (ATC). Not finding Aushev at home, they started shooting over the heads of Aushev's elderly parents, forcing them to disclose their son's whereabouts. Magomed Khazbiev learnt about it from Aushev's mother Maryam Dzhanieva.

She has added that MIA agents turned everything in the house upside down, threw her and her husband's mobile telephones against the wall. After shots over her head, Maksharip's mother had a hypertonic crisis, Mr Khazbiev has added.

In the recent 4 days, MIA employees and securities of Minister Musa Medov, who conducted the searches, threatened to execute Aushev, if he did not give up the idea of the rally; Aushev himself told Khazbiev about it on the previous day.

"What are you dissatisfied with? Why are you arranging rallies like a woman? Go to the woods together with young guys - thus, you'll at least die like a man, otherwise we'll shoot you dead as a dog," this was the way, according to Khazbiev, Aushev was "taught" by MIA agents.
