Gagloeva: Georgian militaries have burnt women and children in South Ossetian church

On August 8, Georgian militaries drove thirty women and children into an Orthodox church, and then blew it up. Irina Gagloeva, a spokesperson of the government of South Ossetia, told the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent about it.

"Georgian militaries forced women and children into the church and then burnt it down. They shot a tank volley at the church, it collapsed and buried people inside alive. The Georgian party has resumed ritual ceremonies here: earlier they chopped off heads, now they burn people alive," said Ms Gagloeva.

"The city of Tskhinvali is empty. Evacuation of people now continues, without special need they try not to move. The city has no communication," she continued.

Single shots are still heard in the city. Two hours ago, the wounded people who were taken today morning to the local hospital were evacuated from the capital of South Ossetia. Today, according to Irina Gagloeva, the first humanitarian help has also arrived. Now, a humanitarian hospital is being deployed in the city.
