Georgia is not going to release residents of South Ossetia

According to Shota Khizanishvili, head of the PR Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) of Georgia, the Georgian party is not going to release the two citizens of South Ossetia detained on July 20.

According to Mr Khizanishvili, two out of four detainees were released, since their guilt was not confirmed. As to the remaining pair - Alikhan Khubaev and Soslan Siukaev, according to Shota Khizanishvili, they are still accused of illegal storage of narcotic substances.

The "Gazeta.Ru" informs that Khizanishvili has refuted the information of the South-Ossetian party that the Georgian MIA wants to exchange these two residents of South Ossetia for Timur Goginashvili, detained by Ossetians three days ago.
