In Dagestan, court rules Charitable Women's Hospital to move out

Today, Magomed Isaev, Judge of the Arbitration Court of the Republic of Dagestan, made a decision to satisfy the suit of the Dagestan Ministry for Property and Land Relations to the Regional Public Foundation "Charitable Women's Hospital" and ruled that the Hospital shall vacate the currently occupied premises.

The court session lasted for about four hours. All the time, about 100 women kept picketing the building of the court. They held posters and headers demanding to let alone the Charitable Women's Hospital.

Larissa Umalatova, representative of the Dagestan Ministry for Property and Land Relations, stated at the court session that the Ministry had attempted to sign a lease agreement with the Hospital, but its managers refused to do it.

In her turn, Aishat Magomedova, Director of the Regional Public Foundation "Charitable Women's Hospital", told in her conversation with the "Caucasian Knot" correspondent that "initially they offered the rental fee of 2 million roubles per year, then dropped the fee to 400,000 roubles. However, even this sum is unaffordable for us."

According to Ms Magomedova, the decision of court will be surely appealed against.
