APC crew in North Ossetia court deny having run over a woman

On March 14, a second session of the Military Prosecution Office of North Ossetia headed by Judge Alexander Kamanin was held on the case of officer Seitmagambetov who had run over a woman in November 2007 while driving an APC.

The APC crew and witnesses of the road accident were summoned to the military prosecutor's office to give evidence.

Amir Sabirov, one the APC observers, relayed the following: "We were riding along Maiskoye but did not see anyone. When the APC stopped I saw something black on the road. None of us came out to see what it was, we moved ahead". Sabirov never told anyone what he had seen.

Witness Bogatyrev claimed that he had seen the body of Aishat Pogorova and the fact that an APC moved away from that place. "A man walked from behind the APC and moved towards the body ", he said.

However, neither the observer nor the other crew members recognized this.
