Armenian politicians are indignant with attacks on Armenians in Russia
Representatives of political parties of Armenia are indignant with attacks on Armenians in Russia, which have become more frequent.
Artashes Gegamyan, leader of the "National Unity" Party, has declared that there are forces in Russia interested in destabilization of Armenian-Russian relations, and it is in the interests of Russia herself to detect these forces and stop their activities. "Should Russia fail to take corresponding measures to stop these forces, she may lose another country in South Caucasus. And aggravation of Russia's relations with one more country in the region will undermine South Caucasus from the inside," he stated.
Eguine Bisharyan, secretary of the "Orinats Erkir" Party, has declared in her turn that Armenia's authorities should also take responsibility for murders of their countrymen abroad, since through their inefficient operation Republic's citizens are compelled, frequently with a threat for their life, to go searching jobs abroad.
