Mass beating of Chechens took place in Nalchik
At it has become known, several incidents has occurred in Nalchik for the last days in the course of which students-Chechens studying in Kabardino-Balkaria were beaten by unknown persons.
According to information of representatives of Nalchik's Chechen community, these events had the largest scale on September 17. That day two extreme incidents happened almost at one time. Several Chechen students were beaten up to the loss of consciousness near the movie theatre "Vostok" in the center of Nalchik. At about the same time over a hundred people rushed into a hospice of the economic and law lyceum and beat Chechen students living there.
The total number of the suffered, including those who were taken to a reanimation department, is being specified now.
Altogether up to 10 thousand natives of Chechnya live in Kabardino-Balkaria today.
