Peter Semnebi meets ex-head of Armenian MFA, now figurant in "Case of Seven"

Late in the evening on February 19, Peter Semnebi, special EU representative in South Caucasus, who is now in Yerevan, had a meeting with Alexander Arzumanyan, ex-Minister of Foreign Affairs, one of the defendants in the resonant "Case of Seven".

The "Caucasian Knot" correspondent has managed to find out at the press service of the Armenian National Congress, during the meeting the parties discussed the details of the "Case of Seven", the situation with political prisoners and the domestic political situation.

The day before, Mr Semnebi also met Levon Ter-Petrosyan, the first president of Armenia, now the leader of the united opposition.

As to his meeting with the incumbent President Serzh Sargsyan, it was on Armenia-EU relations.
