Investigation lays charges on the case of murder of head of "Dagestan" state TV and radio company

The Investigation Committee under the Prosecutor's office (ICP) has laid down charges on the case of murder of Gadzhi Abashilov, head of "Dagestan" state TV and radio company, who was killed on March 21 in Makhachkala when his car was fired at from a machine-gun.

"Charges of the murder of Abashilov have been laid the other day. There are three defendants. It is too early to disclose their names. These persons are just executors, while the investigation is to reveal the entire chain because there are organizers of the crime", reports Boris Salmaksov, deputy head of ICP, in his interview to "Rossijskaya Gazeta" newspaper.

"A lot of evidence has been collected. Scores of forensic examinations, witness interrogations, identifications. Abashilov's professional activity if the motif of the crime ", notes the ICP representative whom the RIA "Novosti" cites.

According to him, the crime has been solved in the course of the investigation, i.e. the investigating officers obtained information and tracked the suspects who were detained by special agents of Dagestan MoI.
