During the election, all the polling stations of the cities of Tbilisi, Rustavi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Gori, Marneuli, Akhalkalaki, Bolnisi, Zugdidi and Poti were equipped with two video cameras each. With account of secret suffrage, the cameras were aimed at the ballot box and members of the electoral administration. In total, 2240 video cameras were installed at polling stations.

The opposition had demanded to present them with complete video records to be able to justify gross violations in the course of voting.
