A Dagestani woman has been accused of supporting an undesirable organization.

A criminal case has been opened against a Kaspiysk resident, accused of transferring funds to an international non-governmental organization banned in Russia.

According to the press service of the regional office of the Investigative Committee for Dagestan, she shared the views of the international non-governmental organization banned in Russia. She decided to provide financial assistance to this organization, according to a statement published on the agency's website on October 31.

Knowing that the funds would go toward the needs and activities of the banned organization, she nevertheless made the transfer. A criminal case has been opened against a resident of Kaspiysk under Part 2 of Article 284.1 of the Russian Criminal Code (carrying out the activities of an international organization whose activities have been deemed undesirable on the territory of the Russian Federation).

Previously, "Caucasian Knot" reported that on October 31, Dagestan resident Alpiyat Abdulmutalibova, arrested in absentia on terrorism charges, was detained at Domodedovo Airport.
