The number of fighters from southern Russia killed in Ukraine has exceeded 7,400

At least 3,686 fighters from the North Caucasus Federal District and 3,718 from the Southern Federal District have been officially recognized as killed in the military operation in Ukraine.

According to the "Caucasian Knot", by September 16, government officials and law enforcement agencies officially recognized at least 7,404 fighters from the south of Russia as killed in the military operation: 3,686 from the North Caucasus Federal District and 3,718 from the Southern Federal District.

The largest number of those killed still comes from Dagestan - 1,555. The death of 811 fighters from Stavropol Krai, 484 from North Ossetia, and 290 from Kabardino-Balkaria has also been confirmed. 1, 249 – from Chechnya 2, 152 from Karachay-Cherkessia and 145 from Ingushetia.
