Tsepovyaz challenged in court the actions with the plots of land that belonged to him

Vyacheslav Tsepovyaz, a member of Tsapko's gang who is serving a 20-year sentence, filed three lawsuits against regional offices of Rosreestr in Krasnodar Krai.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, on November 4, 2010, in the village of Kushchevskaya in Krasnodar Krai, 12 people, including four children, were killed in the house of farmer Ametov. In 2013, Sergei Tsapko, who was considered the leader of the group, and two other defendants were sentenced to life imprisonment. While investigating this high-profile crime, the investigation came to the conclusion that the criminal group operated with the connivance of the local police and prosecutor's office. On February 8, 2022, relatives of the victims of the Tsapkov gang asked the head of the Investigative Committee, Alexander Bastrykin, to take the unsolved criminal cases to the central office of the department and check Vyacheslav Tsepovyaz, his ex-wife Natalya Strishnaya and her brother Ivan for involvement in organizing the murders.

Vyacheslav Tsepovyaz, who is serving a 20-year sentence in the Tsapkov gang case, has filed three applications to the Arbitration Court of Krasnodar Krai against the Rosreestr bodies, challenging their decisions and actions. The applications were received by the court on August 20 and have not yet been accepted for consideration. The defendants in them are the regional Rosreestr office and the inter-municipal department of this office for the Leningradsky, Kushchevsky and Starominsky districts, RIA Novosti reported today.

The essence of the applications is not provided on the court's website. Moscow-based Melnik Trading House LLC Tsepovyaz is asking to involve a third party in disputes over its claims. It is asking to involve the capital’s APK AST Company M LLC, the applicant in its bankruptcy case, in the same status.

Earlier, the Arbitration Court of Krasnodar Krai declared Tsepovyaz bankrupt, ordering him to pay about 2.2 billion rubles. During the consideration of the case, Vyacheslav Tsepovyaz’s representatives objected to the introduction of the property sale procedure, insisting on debt restructuring with gradual repayment. However, the court agreed with the creditor’s arguments that Vyacheslav Tsepovyaz, who is in prison, cannot guarantee the repayment of the debt. In addition, the court recalled that those convicted of economic crimes cannot claim debt restructuring, and the crimes for which Tsepovyaz received a sentence included fraud with budget subsidies, Kommersant reported on September 26 2023.

On January 16, it became known that the bidding in the form of an open auction as part of the bankruptcy procedure of Tsapkov gang member Vyacheslav Tsepovyaz for the land plots belonging to him did not take place, the lands were sold at the starting price of the auction in the amount of 2.5 billion rubles to the only participant - OOO Trading House Melnik, registered in Moscow, TASS reported.
