Four Dagestani soldiers killed in Ukraine

Ziyavdin Babakov, Yavmidin Osmanov, Rizvan Kairavov and Dzhamaludin Dzhamaludinov from the Babayurt district were killed in combat. Since the beginning of the Russian operation in Ukraine, the authorities have officially recognized at least 1,518 servicemen from Dagestan as killed there.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, by August 16, the authorities and representatives of the security forces officially recognized at least 7,207 servicemen from the south of Russia as killed in Ukraine, including 1,514 from Dagestan.

The names of four more servicemen killed in Ukraine were named by the Babayurt district administration, which announced the presentation of posthumous awards to them.

Among those awarded posthumously were named Dzhamaludin Dzhamaludinov and Sergeant Yavmidin Osmanov. Private Ziyavdin Babakov was posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, and Private Rizvan Kairavov was awarded the Suvorov Medal, district military commissar Daniyal Dibirov reported in a video on the municipality's official Telegram channel.

Thus, officials publicly named at least 1,518 soldiers from Dagestan killed on the Ukrainian front.
