Almost 2,000 cars are waiting to pass the Crimean Bridge in Kuban

The queue in the Krasnodar Territory reached 1,910 cars amid information about the prevention of an explosion on the Crimean Bridge.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, earlier today, security forces discovered an explosive device in a car that arrived from Georgia. According to the FSB, the car was supposed to go to the Krasnodar Territory, it was planned to use it to explode the Crimean Bridge.

"There are 1,910 vehicles in the queue for manual inspection from the Taman side. "The waiting time is more than five hours," the official Telegram channel "Crimean Bridge: Operational Information" said in a message.

The information about the long wait was also confirmed by users standing in line at the Crimean Bridge. "From the Taman side, we got stuck in a traffic jam at 26 km (from Rostik) at 9:00, crossed the bridge at 11:20. We passed the inspection in 10 minutes," a reader with the nickname Alla reported in the Telegram public "Crimean Bridge. Chat", which has more than 75 thousand subscribers.

"26 km in 2 hours - that's very fast! "We were stuck in a traffic jam for 7 hours on the 20 km to Crimea," user Elen replied.

"We've been stuck for 4 hours already," Marina Vorobyova complained at 12:09 Moscow time.

Recall that on October 8, 2022, an explosion occurred on the Crimean Bridge, and two spans collapsed. Vladimir Putin called the incident a terrorist attack, and the FSB said that the organizer of the terrorist attack was the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine. Traffic on the bridge was resumed a month later.
