A criminal case has been opened against a kindergarten teacher in Novorossiysk, who is suspected of beating and insulting a pupil, the regional Investigative Committee department for Krasnodar Krai reported today.

"On August 12, in one of the kindergartens in the city of Novorossiysk, a teacher insulted a young girl and also used physical force against her. The situation has become widespread in the public space," the department's official Telegram channel said.

The teacher has already fired, the Novorossiysk police told the Krasnodar media holding's Telegram channel.

The video was published by several Krasnodar Krai Telegram publics. In the video, the woman first used obscene language to insult the girl who refused to eat, and then hit her on the head several times. By 15:15 Moscow time, the video had garnered 28.9 thousand views on the Krasnodar and Krai Emergencies Telegram channel and 1.8 thousand on the Krasnodar media holding's channel.
