A fighter from Dagestan was killed in a military operation

Murad Ibragimov died in hospital after being wounded in combat. Since the start of the military operation in Ukraine, at least 1,483 fighters from Dagestan have been officially recognized as killed.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, by July 25, the authorities and security forces recognized at least 1,482 fighters  from Dagestan as killed in the special military operation in Ukraine.

27-year-old native of the Kulinsky district Murad Ibragimov studied at one of the Caspian schools, and after graduation he went to Moscow. He worked in various fields: logistics, management. In May 2024, he signed a military contract and volunteered for the SVO zone.

He was appointed a rifleman in an assault company and deployed in the Luhansk direction. In one of the battles, Murad was seriously wounded and died in a Moscow military hospital on July 5, 2024. Posthumously awarded the Order of Courage, the Novolaksky District Administration reported on its Telegram channel.

7,100 fighters from the south of Russia are recognized as killed in the military operation

Officials and security forces publicly recognized at least 3,529 fighters from the North Caucasus Federal District and 3,571 from the Southern Federal District as killed in the war zone in Ukraine.

Thus, at least 1,483 fighters from Dagestan are officially recognized as killed on the Ukrainian front. "Caucasian Knot" maintains a list of names of natives of the North Caucasus Federal District and the Southern Federal District killed in the military operation. The list was compiled based on data officially announced by government officials and law enforcement agencies, according to the "Caucasian Knot" report "Statistics of the SVO: losses are growing for the south of Russia".
