Two sappers were killed while clearing a drone in Salsk, and the death toll has risen to three. As a result of the drone attack, 11 private and 10 apartment buildings were damaged in the city.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, on July 29, a car was damaged in a drone attack on Ostrovsky Street in Salsk, the driver was killed. A private house on Socialisticheskaya Street was also damaged in the city.

As a result of the attack in Salsk, three people were killed, Acting Governor Yuri Slyusar reported late in the evening on July 29 in his Telegram channel. "Three people were killed - one civilian and two Rosgvardia sappers. My deepest condolences to the families and friends. I have decided to pay funds to the families of the victims," he wrote.

According to him, the infrastructure of the railway station was also damaged. "Train traffic was temporarily restricted. It was resumed by midday under a temporary scheme, and work is currently underway to restore the railway tracks, which is planned to be completed on the morning of July 30. Passengers on trains that are delayed have been provided with water and food," the publication says.

A total of 11 private homes and 10 apartment buildings were damaged

An apartment building was damaged in the attack. "There are approximately 54 apartments damaged. Many have broken windows. A total of 11 private homes, 10 apartment buildings, several non-residential properties and 2 cars were damaged. It was determined that several groups of the municipal commission would work simultaneously. It is necessary to complete the damage survey within three days and make all payments for the loss of property within two weeks," the official wrote.

Two sappers died on July 29 while clearing a drone, Vladimir Berezovsky, head of the Salsky District, reported on his Telegram channel.

Recall that Kamensk-Shakhtinsky and six districts of the Rostov Region were attacked by drones on July 26. In the Zimovnikovsky District, a car burned down near the highway as a result of the attack, killing two people. According to the authorities, both of the deceased are residents of Kalmykia.

On July 23, two women and a man were taken to a hospital in Novocherkassk, injured in the drone attack.
