The Ministry of Defense counted 11 drones shot down in the Rostov region

Overnight, 11 drones launched from Ukraine were shot down in the Rostov region.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" reported, today two women and a man were taken to the Novocherkassk hospital, injured as a result of the drone attack. Shakhty, Myasnikovsky, Rodionovo-Nesvetaysky and Aksaysky districts were also attacked, fires and damage to houses were recorded in several settlements, the acting governor reported.

Last night, 11 drones launched from Ukraine were shot down in the Rostov region, the Ministry of Defense reported on its Telegram channel.

Another 22 drones were intercepted and destroyed in the Tula, Nizhny Novgorod, Bryansk, Kursk and Kaluga regions, the publication notes.

Recall that on the night of July 21, as a result of a drone attack, the building of the Kamenolomny railway station in the Oktyabrsky district caught fire. The incident led to a disruption in the passenger train schedule. In the village of Kamenolomni, a flower shop also caught fire, and in the village of Rakovo, Krasnosulinsky District, a private house, a summer kitchen and two cars were damaged. In addition, drones were shot down in Shakhty, Novoshakhtinsk and Novocherkassk.

On the night of July 19, train traffic was stopped on the Likhaya - Zamchalovo section in the Rostov Region after a drone attack. It was resumed the same day, but the incident led to delays in the movement of trains. In addition, as a result of the attack, a railway employee - the duty officer at the Likhaya station - was injured. She was taken to the hospital, and then transported to the Rostov clinic Russian Railways.
