Fires extinguished at drone attack site in Rostov region

Fires that started after a drone attack have been extinguished at a railway station and in a store building in the village of Kamenolomny. A private house was damaged in the attack in the village of Rakovo.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, last night as a result of a drone attack, the roof of the railway station in the village of Kamenolomny in the Oktyabrsky District caught fire, three people were evacuated from the control center. In the same village, a flower shop caught fire, said the acting governor of the Rostov region Yuri Slyusar .

In the village of Kamenolomny, "all fires were quickly extinguished," Yuri Slyusar reported on his Telegram channel. He also published new information about the consequences of the drone attack.

A private house, a summer kitchen and two cars were damaged

"The building of the old control center at the railway station was damaged. In the village of Rakovo, Krasnosulinsky District, on ul. Radishcheva, 22, a private house, a summer kitchen and two cars were damaged by UAV fragments. According to preliminary data, no one was hurt," the publication says.

Recall that on the night of July 19, in the Rostov region, the military shot down 24 drones. As a result of the attack, a railway employee was injured - the duty officer at the Likhaya station. She was taken to the hospital, and then transported to the Rostov clinic Russian Railways. The attack also resulted in several private houses in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky catching fire, but the fires were later extinguished.

Due to damage to the railway's electrical network on the Likhaya-Zamchalovo section, train service was suspended. It was resumed the same day, but the incident led to delays in train service. On July 20, 132 passenger trains were delayed for periods ranging from half an hour to 15 hours, and the schedule of 10 trains was also changed.
