25 drones shot down in Rostov region and Kuban

In the Rostov region, the military shot down 24 drones launched from Ukraine. Another drone was destroyed in the Krasnodar region.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, last night as a result of a drone attack a person was injured and several private houses in Kamensk-Shakhtinsky caught fire. In the Kamensky district, a transformer burned down due to a drone attack, five settlements were left without power, said the acting governor of the Rostov region Yuri Slyusar.

Last night, air defense systems on duty destroyed and intercepted 71 drones launched from Ukraine, including 24 in the Rostov region and one in Kuban, the Ministry of Defense reported on its Telegram channel.

The remaining drones were neutralized over the territories of the Moscow, Bryansk, Kaluga, Kursk, Oryol, Tula and Lipetsk regions, the publication notes.

As of 07.55 Moscow time, the Kuban operational headquarters did not report a drone attack on its Telegram channel.

Recall that on the night of July 4, in In the village of Dolotinka in the Rostov region, a drone attack caused a floor slab to collapse in a two-story eight-apartment building, killing a pensioner. In Azov, a drone explosion damaged the windows in an apartment building where 120 people live. In total, more than 20 residential buildings and three social facilities were damaged that night in the Rostov region.

In Novorossiysk, on May 3, a drone attack damaged residential buildings, injuring three adults and two children. Authorities reported that 192 apartments were damaged during the attack, six apartments were destroyed.
