Military reported two drones shot down in Rostov region

Last night, the military shot down two drones launched from Ukraine in the Rostov region. Another four drones were destroyed over the Black Sea.

As "Kavkazsky Uzel" wrote, the military destroyed a UAV in the Tarasovsky district, the acting governor of the Rostov region Yuri Slyusar reported today. According to him, there are no casualties or damage. The official did not specify whether one drone was destroyed or several.

Two drones launched from Ukraine were shot down in the Rostov region last night, the Ministry of Defense reported on its Telegram channel.

According to the publication, from 11 p.m. Moscow time on July 10 to 7 a.m. Moscow time, 151 aircraft-type drones were intercepted and destroyed over the territories of 11 regions, including Crimea, as well as four drones over the Black Sea.

In turn, Yuri Slyusar at 07.35 Moscow time supplemented his publication, reporting that "from 06:27 to 07:10, a UAV attack was successfully repelled in Taganrog."

"There are no victims or consequences on the ground, preliminarily," he wrote.

Recall that on the night of July 4, in the village of Dolotinka, Millerovsky District, as a result of a drone attack, a floor slab collapsed in a two-story eight-apartment building, killing a pensioner. In Azov, a drone explosion damaged the windows of an apartment building where 120 people live. In total, that night in the Rostov Region, more than 20 residential buildings and three social facilities were damaged.

On the night of July 1, drones were shot down in Rostov-on-Don, Taganrog, Novoshakhtinsk, as well as in the Millerovsky, Myasnikovsky, Aksaysky, Neklinovsky and Matveyevo-Kurgansky districts of the Rostov Region. In Taganrog, windows were broken and parked cars were damaged in an apartment building, and in the village of Vesyoloye a house was damaged.
