Drone shot down in Rostov region

In Tarasovsky District, the military destroyed at least one drone launched from Ukraine.

Last night, air defense forces destroyed a UAV in Tarasovsky District, the acting governor of Rostov Oblast reported on his Telegram channel Yuri Slyusar.

"Preliminary, there are no casualties or damage on the ground," he wrote at 05:35 Moscow time. The official did not specify whether one drone was destroyed or several.

"Kavkazsky Uzel" also wrote that on the night of July 4 in the village of Dolotinka in the Millerovsky district, as a result of a drone attack, a floor slab collapsed in a two-story eight-apartment building, killing a pensioner. In Azov, a drone explosion damaged the windows in an apartment building where 120 people live. In total, more than 20 residential buildings and three social facilities were damaged in Rostov Oblast that night.

On the night of July 1, drones were shot down in Rostov-on-Don, Taganrog, Novoshakhtinsk, as well as in Millerovsky, Myasnikovsky, Aksaysky, Neklinovsky and Matveyevo-Kurgansky districts of Rostov Oblast. In Taganrog, windows were broken and parked cars were damaged in an apartment building, and in the village of Vesyoloye a house was damaged.
