Adam Kadyrov appointed curator of the Chechen MIA

The 17-year-old son of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, became the curator of the Chechen Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA).

Aslan Iraskhanov, the head of the Chechen MIA, has noted that the decision to appoint Adam Kadyrov to the above post was made on the instruction of his father, Ramzan Kadyrov.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on March 27, 2025, it became known that by the order of the director of the “Rosgvardiya” (Russian National Guard), Adam Kadyrov was awarded the medal "For Battle Honours". This became possible due to the arbitrary interpretation of Adam’s merits by the “Rosgvardiya” bosses, analysts have noted. Social media users have ironically commented on the awarding.

Earlier, Adam Kadyrov received the title of Hero of Chechnya and the highest state awards. This happened after in September 2023, Ramzan Kadyrov posted a video showing Adam beating Nikita Zhuravel, arrested within the Koran burning down case.
