Kadyrov boasts about sending armoured pickups to SMO zone
Five armoured Changan pickups have been sent to fighters of the Chechen military units.
According to the Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov’s report, five Changan pickups have been sent from the republic to the special military operation (SMO) zone. The pickups will be delivered to the location of the Chechen military units.
The vehicles will mainly be used for operational tasks, Ramzan Kadyrov writes on his Telegram channel.
Let us remind you that on January 14, volunteers who arrived in Chechnya to sign a military contract for being sent to the special military operation zone complained that they were being kept locked up for weeks in order to be sent to the combat zone instead of local residents who had paid off their service. Human rights defenders have noted that in Chechnya, there are cases of coercion to sign military contracts. They also believe that law enforcers can create an “exchange fund,” consisting of volunteers from other regions who arrived in the republic: it is suggested that the volunteers will sign military contracts instead of local residents.
On December 17, Ramzan Kadyrov reported that since the beginning of the special military operation, more than 51,000 fighters have been sent to the combat zone from Chechnya.
