Resident of North Ossetia repeatedly fined for discrediting Russian Army

Andrei Kolomiets, a 57-year-old resident of North Ossetia, was fined 50,000 roubles for his negative statements about the Russian Armed Forces. This has already been his second fine.

The Sovietsky District Court of Vladikavkaz fined 57-year-old Andrei Kolomiets in an administrative case on public discrediting of the Russian Armed Forces, the joint press service for the general jurisdiction courts of North Ossetia reported.

According to the press service’s report, while visiting an office of one of the organizations, the man spoke negatively about the actions of the Russian authorities, complained about being humiliated on national and ethnic grounds, and claimed that some territories of Russia, including North Ossetia, belong to another state, the “Krylia TV” reports.
