MP from Dagestan Rizvan Kurbanov rejects Kadyrov's accusations
Rizvan Kurbanov, a Russian State Duma MP from Dagestan, has stated that he was not involved in preparing an assassination attempt on Ramzan Kadyrov and has nothing to do with the Wildberries Company.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that blood feuds are not declared due to business conflicts, Caucasus experts have commented on Kadyrov's statement. The threat to declare a blood feud against Senator Kerimov and the MPs from Ingushetia and Dagestan is puzzling, since it has to do with a business conflict, and not with the murder of a relative, users in the Caucasian Telegram channels have pointed out.
On October 9, Ramzan Kadyrov, while speaking about the conflict around the Wildberries Company, mentioned Suleiman Kerimov, Senator from Dagestan, and Russian State Duma MPs, Bekkhan Barakhoev and Rizvan Kurbanov. He called on them to prove their non-involvement in ordering his murder and warned of his readiness to declare a blood feud against them. For more details about the conflict, watch the video.
Rizvan Kurbanov has stated in a video posted on his Telegram channel that he is undergoing treatment abroad. He has noted that he had always respected the Kadyrov family, ever since the time when he was friends with the father of the head of Chechnya, and highly appreciates Ramzan Kadyrov's activities.
Kurbanov has emphasized that he is not associated with the Wildberries Company. He has also addressed the youth of the Caucasus, who are very heatedly discussing the situation in social networks, while "insulting each other." "I ask you to stop, we can't allow this," he has suggested.
Let us remind you that during a meeting of the Ingush and Chechen delegations, Adam Delimkhanov, a State Duma MP from Chechnya, placed responsibility for the incident on Bekkhan Barakhoev, an MP from Ingushetia.
