Two natives of Northern Caucasus injured in shootout near “Wildberries” office in Moscow

A shootout took place near an office of the “Wildberries” Company in the centre of Moscow. As a result, at least one person has been killed and several others have been wounded, sources report. Among the victims have been Abubakar Mestoev and Umar Chichaev, mixed martial arts (MMA) fighters from Northern Caucasus, reports Shamil Khadulaev, the chair of the Public Oversight Commission (POC) of Dagestan.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on July 23, Ramzan Kadyrov, the leader of Chechnya, promised Vladislav Bakalchuk, a husband of the richest woman in Russia, that he would not allow the family to be destroyed and “would go to the end” to stop the raider takeover of the “Wildberries” Company. Tatiana Bakalchuk denied the information about the raider takeover, stating that it was only a matter of divorcing her husband.

According to the Forbes’ information, the Tatiana Bakalchuk’s fortune was estimated at 7 billion US dollars in August 2023.

On September 18, a shootout took place at the entrance to the office of the “Wildberries” Company in the “Romanov Dvor” business centre in Moscow, the TASS reports with reference to the investigating services. A group of 20-30 men smashed the glass at the entrance to the business centre, and gunfire was opened in response.

At least seven persons have been injured, including three policemen, the “Shot” Telegram channel reports.

MMA fighters Abubakar Mestoev and Umar Chichaev were accompanied by Vladislav Bakalchuk, wrote in his Telegram channel Shamil Khadulaev, the chair of the Public Oversight Commission (POC) of Dagestan.
