Observers report violations during election campaign in Southern Russia

At least eight reports of violations during the campaign in the Krasnodar and Stavropol Territories were received by the "Election Violations Map".

Since August 1, five reports have been received from the Krasnodar Territory, and three from the Stavropol one. All of them concern the abuse of administrative resources to campaign for candidates. In particular, it is reported that pressure with threats of dismissal from work was exerted on a candidate for the post of head of the Ilsky Urban Settlement, nominated by the Communist Party of the Russian Federation (CPRF).

Another report says that the candidate from the "Edinaya Rossiya" (United Russia) Party is using the local administration's resources for campaigning.

A report from the city of Essentuki indicates that the head of the resort city is in fact campaigning for the current Stavropol Governor, Vladimir Vladimirov. On August 22, two reports say that in the Stavropol Territory, there is a "large-scale campaign for candidate Vladimir Vladimirov," including through public pages of various organizations, official bodies and regional agencies.

The reports received by the "Election Violations Map" about possible violations during the voting are posted without preliminary verification. The "Caucasian Knot" does not conduct a preliminary verification and does not assess the information about violations received from users.
