Court plans to question law enforcers involved in case of Abdurakhmanov and Goncharenko accused of setting fire to military commissariat

After checking Bogdan Abdurakhmanov's statement that his testimony has been obtained under pressure, the court that considers the case of setting fire to the military commissariat (registration and enlistment office) located in the town of Goryachy Klyuch, has scheduled to interrogate the law enforcers involved. This was informed by Bogdan's advocate.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that the court that is considering the case of Boris Goncharenko and Bogdan Abdurakhmanov, accused of setting fire to the military commissariat in Goryachy Klyuch, was postponed until August 20. Goncharenko has been transferred to another Rostov SIZO (pre-trial prison), and letters from him are coming with great delays, his mother said.

On May 28, 2024, Abdurakhmanov stated that he had not given the testimony that was earlier voiced out, but that it was written by the investigator. According to Bogdan, he did not care what the investigator would write, but when the charge of a terror act appeared, he reconsidered his attitude. At the Rostov SIZO, where Goncharenko is now kept, "the custody conditions are better," Felix Vertegel, his advocate, has noted, adding that his client is given the necessary medications, and he heard no complaints about his health.

Let us remind you that on October 6, 2022, the building of the military commissariat in Goryachy Klyuch was set on fire. The prosecution asserts that Goncharenko committed the crime together with another person, but Goncharenko himself insists that he had made the flammable mixture, but did not take part in the arson, and did not know how the other person had planned to use the mixture.
