Native of Nazran wanted in case on financing terrorism

The police have put on the wanted list a native of Nazran who left for Syria eight years ago. According to the investigators’ version, the woman joined a terrorist organization and was raising money for its needs.

The native of Nazran is suspected of aiding and abetting terrorist activities, the Investigating Department for Ingushetia of the Investigating Committee of the Russian Federation (ICRF) reports.

According to the investigators’ version, in 2016, the suspect left for Syria, where she voluntarily joined an international terrorist organization.

The investigators emphasize that the suspect still stays in Syria and that she has been put on the wanted list.

The “Caucasian Knot” has also reported that the military court of appeal upheld the sentence of Timur Khamkhoev, a resident of Ingushetia, who was sentenced to nine years of imprisonment in a penal colony in a case on financing Syrian militants.
