Court fines Zheleznovodsk resident for discussing SMO
Dmitry Kolotushkin, a resident of the Stavropol Territory, has been fined under the article on discrediting the Russian Armed Forces after discussing the situation in Ukraine.
Earlier, Dmitry Kolotushkin had joined strangers drinking alcoholic beverages in a garage and expressed criticism of the special military operation (SMO). In court, Dmitry Kolotushkin admitted his guilt and expressed repentance, the official website of the Zheleznovodsk City Court reports.
The court decided to fine Dmitry Kolotushkin 30,000 roubles, the “OVD Info”* human rights project reported.
The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that a court found Artyom Babin, a resident of Stavropol, guilty of discrediting the Russian Armed Forces for posting a pacifist entry on the “VKontakte” social network and fined him 30,000 roubles.
The police also drew up a protocol under the article on discrediting the Russian Armed Forces against Pavel Prokudin, a blogger from Volgograd, who was arrested in a criminal case on inciting hatred towards Russian militaries.
