SMO participants ask President Putin for assistance in finding missing athlete Anna Tsomartova

Participants of the special military operation in Ukraine recorded video messages to Russian President Vladimir Putin with a request to assist in the search for Anna Tsomartova, an athlete from North Ossetia, who disappeared in Kaspiysk. Earlier, her mother has reported that Anna Tsomartova disappeared near an FSB sanatorium.

Diana Tsomartova, a mother of the missing athlete, posted two videos on her daughter’s “Anna Tsomartova” Telegram channel with appeals from participants of the special military operation (SMO) to Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Let us remind you that the search for Anna Tsomartova has been ongoing since February 12. Her mother said that the athlete disappeared in Kaspiysk after she was defeated in a tournament and was depressed. Investigators have instituted a murder case, and a kidnapping version is also being considered.

On February 24, Nikolai Tsomartov, a father of Anna Tsomartova, posted a petition on the website “Change.org”, in which he also asked President Putin to assist in the search for the missing athlete.

On March 10, Diana Tsomartova claimed that after reading the materials of the case on her daughter’s disappearance, the family came to the conclusion that investigators failed to do the proper work. The mother of the missing athlete filed a complaint against the investigators.

On March 24, the FSB denied any involvement in the disappearance of Anna Tsomartova.
