Law enforcers detain several people wishing to bid farewell to Navalny
Several people heading to the farewell venue for Alexei Navalny in Moscow were detained by law enforcers, human rights defenders have informed. The queue to the temple where the coffin with Alexei's body was delivered has reached a kilometre.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that residents of Russia were persecuted for attempting to lay flowers in memory of Navalny at memorials to victims of political repressions.
Several people have already been detained on the way to say goodbye to Navalny, the human rights project "OVD-Info"* reports in its Telegram channel.
"The formal reason may be in their participation in past unsanctioned actions in Navalny's memory, but most likely this is done to intimidate activists and Navalny's supporters of," the project has stated.
Navalny is planned to be buried into the Borisov Cemetery. Frames and barriers have been put up at the entrance to the cemetery; and policemen have been mobilized, the "Sota" outlet has reported.
