Slogan in support of Ukraine results in fine imposed on resident of Aksai District

The court has fined Mikhail Golovin, a resident of the Aksai District of the Rostov Region, by 50,000 roubles, finding that the slogan he wrote in support of Ukraine was discrediting Russian militaries.

According to investigators, Golovin wrote a slogan in support of Ukraine on a piece of paper during the campaign held by the military commissariat (registration and enlistment office) for contract service with the Ministry of Defence (MoD).

According to Golovin, he wrote the phrase as a joke and pursued no goal of discrediting the Russian Army, the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project reports.
