Social media users outraged by calls of “Chechenenergo” to save electricity
The “Chechenenergo” Company should provide the necessary power instead of turning off the electricity during the hot weather and calling on residents to save electric power. This was a reaction by social media users in response to the company’s calls to save energy.
In Chechnya, power engineers recommend that residents use electricity sparingly because of the hot weather, the “Chechenenergo” Company reports in its Telegram channel.
“Given the fact that we have hot weather every year and this process is repeated, then power engineers should consider that the problem needs to be solved! If there is not enough power, so please expand, upgrade the equipment, and solve the problem. How can you ask us to use less energy in the today’s world of advanced technology?” writes user Batman.
In their comments, social media users expressed their indignation by requests to save electricity during the hot weather. “Why don’t they prepare for the season? It’s not the first time when it’s 40 degrees in summer, as it happens every summer,” complains user maddi_shams.
Other users were outraged by power cuts. “Well, we don’t have time to spend power, because the electricity is turned off,” noted user i_never_be_yours.
