Two Rostov contract officers appeal against refusals of payments for participation in special military operation

Vyacheslav Dmitrov and Anatoly Balanovsky, contract officers from Rostov-on-Don, filed appeals to court against refusals of payments for their participation in the special military operation in Ukraine. Both officers found unreasonable their discharge from the Russian army after they had been wounded.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on February 15, Russian State Duma member Maxim Ivanov claimed that soldiers and officers, who were wounded in the special military operation in Ukraine, could not take from hospitals of Anapa and Rostov-on-Don the medical certificates necessary for subsequent payments.

The official website of the Leninsky District Court of Rostov-on-Don states that Vyacheslav Dmitrov was enrolled as the chief of headquarters-deputy commander of the “Bars” detachment and was wounded “while performing combat missions.” Vyacheslav Dmitrov departed for treatment, after which he was discharged “due to the refusal to further participate” in the special military operation.

In turn, Anatoly Balanovsky was recognized as “having stopped performing the tasks of the special military operation in connection with the departure for treatment.” “The plaintiff indicates that he got a mine-explosive injury during his service, but he was not paid a cash payment due to him,” the court’s website states.
