Astrakhan resident accused of discrediting Russian Army

Maxim Shilov, a resident of Astrakhan, has been charged under the administrative article on discrediting the Russian Army for his comments posted in a social network. This was reported by Gasanov, a Maxim's advocate, to the human rights project "OVD-Info"*.

The reason for the charges was in Shilov's comments on the "VKontakte", including criticism of the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine.

"Shilov stated that he wrote these comments in a state of emotional stress, since he has relatives living in Ukraine," the project informs on its Telegram channel.
