Kadyrov reveals number of Chechen fighters in SMO
Since the start of the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine, 26,000 fighters have been sent from Chechnya, including 12,000 volunteers trained at the Special Forces University; and 7000 fighters from Chechnya are now in the SMO, Ramzan Kadyrov has stated. According to his story, Chechnya is now forming two regiments of 2400 people.
Since the start of the SMO in Ukraine, over 26,000 people have been sent from Chechnya to the SMO zone, including 12,000 volunteers who had undergone an accelerated training course at the Russian University of Special Forces located in the city of Gudermes, the head of Chechnya has informed in his Telegram channel.
The military experts interviewed by the "Caucasian Knot" have stated that the 10-day-long training course of volunteers is insufficient. The course may be sufficient only for volunteers who already have military experience, Alexander Khramchikhin said, in particular. In Afghanistan, Soviet soldiers were trained for battles for six months, Andrei Koshkin has confirmed.
