Stavropol resident arrested after criticizing SMO in Ukraine

The Kursky District Court of the Stavropol Territory has arrested for 12 days a local resident, Arthur Abramov, who spoke negatively about Russians because of the special military operation (SMO) in Ukraine.

According to investigators, while in a supermarket, in the presence of staff and customers, Abramov spoke negatively against residents of Russia in connection with the SMO conducted in Ukraine.

At the trial, he pleaded guilty and repented, the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project reports. Abramov was found guilty under the article "Inciting hatred or enmity, as well as humiliation of human dignity" (the article provides for up to 15 days of arrest, – note of the "Caucasian Knot").
