Social media comment about Akhmat Kadyrov results in criminal case

Oleg Tyryshkin, an activist from the city of Anzhero-Sudjensk, Kemerovo Region, has been accused of justifying terrorism. The reason was his comment place in social networks about the death of the first president of Chechnya, Akhmat Kadyrov, in 2004 during an explosion at a stadium in Grozny.

The activist was detained on March 27 in the hospital where he was being treated, the "Kavkaz.Realii"* project has reported. Now, Oleg is under recognizance not to leave the place.

Policemen and FSB agents are examining his comments in the "VKontakte" social network, the "OVD-Info"* project reports.

In May this year, Oleg Tyryshkin was put on the list of terrorists and extremists run by the "Rosfinmonitoring" (the Russian Federal Financial Monitoring Service).

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that in March, a resident of a village in the Stavropol Territory was charged with publicly justifying terrorism because of his comment posted in a social network.
