Kadyrov boasts to Putin of Chechen authorities’ achievements

At a meeting with President Vladimir Putin, Ramzan Kadyrov reported about the growth of economic indicators in Chechnya, the implementation of national projects, and the reduction of unemployment.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on November 25, 2022, Vladimir Putin and Ramzan Kadyrov discussed the situation in Chechnya and the participation of Chechen units in the special military operation. At a meeting with mothers of the participants in the special military operation, Chechnya was represented by a mother of the Aguevs law enforcers before the conversation with Ramzan Kadyrov and Vladimir Putin.

Ramzan Kadyrov has reported that the republic stays in first place in terms of the number of “successfully implemented state programmes.” “We are also among the leaders in creating a comfortable urban environment,” the leader of Chechnya said, according to the Kremlin’s official website.

The leader of Chechnya has added that the authorities of the republic record a stable growth of economic indicators.

There are also good results in the healthcare sector, Ramzan Kadyrov has noted. “We are leaders in revaccination against coronavirus ... The republic again took first place in the ranking of the absence of bad habits and the growth of demographics,” the leader of Chechnya emphasized.

It should be noted that the figures announced by Ramzan Kadyrov contradict the data of the “Rosstat” (the Federal State Statistics Agency). According to the “Rosstat”, in the fourth quarter of 2022, Chechnya ranked 82nd among the Russian regions in terms of unemployment, which reached 11% in the republic.
