Social media users criticise report on assistance to families of people mobilized from Baksan District of Kabardino-Balkaria

Gas and heating have been installed in the houses of three families of the mobilized compatriots, the administration in Kabardino-Balkaria reports. All residents deserve the attention of the authorities, and not just those who sent their relatives to the special military operation, Instagram* users reproach the officials.

On December 30, on its Telegram channel, the administration of the Baksan District reported about assistance rendered to the families of the mobilized compatriots. In particular, the other day, heating was installed in the house of the Shugushevs family from the village of Zhankhoteko, whose son was mobilized. “The administration of the Baksan District helped us to purchase and install the equipment, on behalf of Kazbek Kokov, the leader of Kabardino-Balkaria,” the report says.

In their comments on social media, most users criticized the authorities. “My God! The administration and municipality of the Baksan District, what are you boasting about? Do you want to say that in order to get a supply of gas and heat to their homes, people must send their son or father to [the special military operation]? Wake up, we live in the 21st century! It is your duty to take care of people!” wrote, in particular, user tairova2306.

“Why, in order to get human conditions, do people need to sacrifice their beloved ones? Have you found something to be proud of? Do you think that you shouldn’t do your job earlier?” user r.sabrie asked.
