After conflict with law enforcers, mass gatherings are banned in Urus-Martan
Any resident of the Urus-Martan District, regardless of activity type, will be punished for participating in any mass meeting, the head of the district police has announced.
The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on December 12 it became known that more than 500 law enforcers were involved in the search for citizens who were watching the conflict with the participation of a GIBDD (traffic police) inspector. This was preceded by the promise of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, to send employees of all security forces to the city, to whom inhabitants of Urus-Martan "could express their claims." Sending 500 law enforcers to resolve a minor conflict looks like an overreaction by Chechen authorities, the retired law enforcers believe. Local residents complained about the oppressive situation in Urus-Martan after the law enforcers' conflict.
Let us remind you that on December 12, while speaking on air of the "Grozny" TV Channel, one of law enforcers told about the raids conducted in Urus-Martan, during which they checked the documents of drivers and the presence of tinting of car windows. Law enforcers broke tinted windows in cars, one of oppositional Telegram channel has reported.
