Head of Ingushetia announces payments to families of those mobilized

One-time payments of 100,000 roubles will be paid to each family of those mobilized from Ingushetia, Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov, the head of the republic, has announced.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on September 21, President Vladimir Putin announced mobilization in Russia; and on the same day the government of Ingushetia set up a drafting commission, headed by Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov.

On September 30, an action of the Muslims dissatisfied with the mobilization course was held in Moscow. One of the protesters, Salam, a trader from Ingushetia, noted that summonses were "handed out to everyone."

The head of Ingushetia has stated in his Telegram channel that "payments will timely reach all those entitled." "The money, though small, will help to stabilize the family budget for some time," Makhmud-Ali Kalimatov has stressed.

He has also stated that the republic will address "other problems" faced by the families of those mobilized. "The ministers of public health, education and labour and social protection, as well as municipalities and resource-supplying organizations, will primarily deal with the appeals and requests of the families of newly-recruited militaries," the republic's head has added.

The "Caucasian Knot" has also reported that Magomed Evloev, an Ingush Vice-Premier, has apologized for his threats addressed to municipally heads for the disruption of the mobilization plan. The apology was preceded by a resonance from his words, caused, among other things, by the dissatisfaction of the Ingush Council of Teips (family clans), the Human Rights Centre (HRC) "Memorial" has reported.
