Kadyrov's intent to send his sons to frontline spark bewilderment among social media users

The statement of the head of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, about his readiness to send his underage sons Akhmat, Eli and Adam to Ukraine has caused bewilderment among social media users. Some of them treat his words just as self-promotion; others have expressed the opinion that it was too early for children to go to the combat zone.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that on October 3, Kadyrov announced that his three sons were preparing to leave for Ukraine, where they would be in the most difficult areas of hostilities.

Some Telegram users were puzzled by the news. "The participation of minors in hostilities is not allowed in the Russian Federation. Chechnya is also the Russian Federation. Why is he going too far?" the user Tatiana has asked.

"They've no need to be on the frontline, it's too early. Let them grow up and be worthy defenders," the user Lidia Podguzova has suggested.

Some Instagram users were also sceptical about Kadyrov's words about sending his underage sons to the frontline.

"They will return and receive the title of Hero of Russia. They will be in the history of Russia as the youngest volunteers of the special military operation. Their life is guaranteed until the end of days," the user dag.suleymanov has suggested.

Let us remind you that Kadyrov's sons took part in boxing fights and mixed martial arts (MMA) tournaments, where they used to be declared winners. Kadyrov's children are guaranteed victory, although this brings him more criticism than promotion, analysts noted in 2021.
