Political analysts consider Kadyrov’s call to mobilize half of Russian law enforcers a trick

The Kremlin will not reduce the staff of the law enforcement bodies to send them to Ukraine, and the proposal of Ramzan Kadyrov, as well as his refusal to mobilize new fighters in Chechnya, was announced to calm residents of the republic, Dmitry Oreshkin and Alexei Malashenko point out. Law enforcers will be possibly sent to Ukraine only in case of a critical situation at the front, Magomed Shamilov, chair of the Dagestani Police Trade Union, confirms.

The “Caucasian Knot” has reported that on September 24, Ramzan Kadyrov proposed mobilizing half of the staff of the Russian law enforcement bodies. According to the leader of Chechnya, due to the above, 2.5 million people would be recruited to be sent to Ukraine.

Ramzan Kadyrov’s proposal to mobilize half of the staff of the Russian law enforcement bodies will not be approved by the Kremlin, political analyst Dmitry Oreshkin believes.

“The leader of Chechnya does such a somersault to show residents of Chechnya that he allegedly does not give up his own people and does everything to avoid mobilization ... In such a way, he protects himself from the claims of his citizens, and he presents himself at the federal level as a person who thinks about the mobilization almost at the level of Russian Defence Minister Sergey Shoigu,” Dmitry Oreshkin explained.

Political analyst Alexei Malashenko called the Ramzan Kadyrov’s proposal a continuation of his initiative with the actual abolition of the mobilization in Chechnya. The expert also emphasizes that the importance of Ramzan Kadyrov to the Kremlin differs from other heads of regions.

“Ramzan Kadyrov is allowed much more than other heads of the regions ... Therefore, no one but him can say that the plan for has been overfulfilled and may not carry out the partial mobilization,” Alexei Malashenko said.

The Kremlin will not reduce the staff of the law enforcement bodies, emphasizes Magomed Shamilov, the chair of the Dagestani Police Trade Union.
