Social media users outraged by words of Dagestani leader about western organizers of rallies

Mothers and wives of the residents of Dagestan, who have received mobilization summons, came out to protest against the mobilization on their own free will, users of social networks have asserted in response to the statement of the republic's head about enemies from abroad. To avoid people's unrest, he should have come out to people himself, users have noted.

The "Caucasian Knot" has reported that today in Makhachkala, where the protesters against mobilization gathered, a mass brawl broke out; law enforcers began detaining people.

On September 25, Makhachkala law enforcers violently dispersed the anti-mobilization action. According to human rights defender, 101 people were detained.

"The actions in Makhachkala had been prepared in advance and controlled, among other ways, from abroad," Sergey Melikov, the head of Dagestan, wrote on his Telegram channel. In his opinion, the organizers of the actions are "trying to heat up the situation in the country" for the "money received from foreign sponsors." In doing so, they make use of emotions of the people who worry about their relatives, Melikov has noted.

Most Instagram users wouldn't believe Melikov's words about organization of protests by provocateurs from abroad.

"Personally, I think that mothers wouldn't like to lose their sons, wives – their husbands, sisters – their brothers, and someone – her beloved one. As a human being, I understand them," the user marymis7 has written.

"And the law enforcers who beat up women? Have they also come from abroad to anger people?" the user saidmagomedov345 has asked.
